Here is a PDF presentation that explains the concept for creating a new IEC standard on RDS receiver measurements IEC 62634/Ed1. The new standard was published in June 2011.
The RBDS standard was updated in April 2011 by the US NRSC. The new version only shows the differences with respect to IEC 62106/Ed2. The RDS Forum was kept informed on the progress made. ITU-R Recommendation BS.643-3 (2011) dealing with RDS/RBDS was updated with the help of the RDS Forum and published as a new version in May 2011.

He was one of the three Swiss experts honoured this year for having contributed in a significant way to the IEC activities. The laudation said that �it is in recognition of his service to TC 100 and his work on the maintenance of IEC 62106 with outstanding editorial input.�
